Davy Jones is a native Floridian, husband, father of five children, and currently works at Walt Disney World where he is the featured cornetist with the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra. Over the past twenty years of his jazz career he has been privileged to share the stage with many great jazz artists such as: Don Mopsick, Wild Bill Davidson, Billy Butterfield, Johnny Mince, Knocky Parker, Flip Phillips, Spiegle Willcox, Tommy Newsom, Warren Vaché Jr. and many others.

Davy has been fortunate to have recorded with Bob Haggart, Butch Miles, Johnny Varro, Allan Vaché, Phil Flanigan, Rick Fay, Eddie Higgins, Jerry Jerome, John Allred, Bill Allred, Roy Bookbinder, and the widely acclaimed Black Dog Jazz Band.

During his travels he has appeared at numerous jazz festivals in the United States, Canada, Europe, and in 1992 traveled with The Black Dog Jazz Band on a ground-breaking concert tour of mainland China.

He is currently producing A Jazz Story, a musical stage presentation giving an overview of jazz from its beginnings in Ragtime up through the Big Band Era featuring Tom Hook and the David Jones Jazz Orchestra.
